A Vision for Salem

What do you think about a new beginning for Salem? Is it upsetting to you that homeowner taxes in Salem have increased while one of the most profitable power companies in the country pays less and less, leaving Salem in fiscal hardship? What do you think would happen to home values in Salem if the power plant site were decontaminated and redeveloped? A few think that just because several people, a long time ago, decided to put a power plant on Salem waterfront property that there needs to be one there for all time. A few claim that there are no options for Salem because there are some transmission lines there. A (very) few like to say there are no health issues with what comes out of the stacks.
